Sugar Land Ice & Sports Hockey Academy and Mighty Mites is designed to teach the fundamental hockey skills. Classes start by introducing skaters to the fundamentals of skating and build up to skills such as stick-handling, passing and shooting. 

Hockey Academy is Sundays from 12:15-1:15pm and is designed for ages 8 and older. Mighty Mites is Sundays from 1:15-2:15pm and is for ages 7 and under.

For the adult Hockey Academy participants, Hockey Academy progresses to Novice League where the same game and team concepts are supplemented with drills.

Please note that full equipment is required for each class. Sugar Land Ice does not provide the equipment. Additionally, USA Hockey Membership is Required. ​
